We are excited to announce that Green Cell will be supporting a fundraiser for PRISM of Georgia on Sat June 22nd from 9 AM to 1 PM at 2500 Old Alabama Road #10 Roswell, GA 30076. The fundraiser will help reduce plastic and Styrofoam® waste by recycling these hard to recycle items. PRISM of Georgia Planet Patrol already helps business recycle better. With this fundraiser, PRISM of Georgia will bring same level of sustainability focus to residential participants.

Most residential curbside recycling programs currently can only recycle #1 PET and #2 HDPE plastic bottles in the curbside container. At this event, Green Cell and PRISM volunteers will collect additional, clean, dry and clearly marked, common plastic items, #1 and #2 (non bottles), #4, #5 and #6. We will also collect any white colored packaging Styrofoam®, free of any tape. We will not be able to accept Colored Styrofoam®, packing peanuts. Here are some representative items that will be accepted or rejected to help you prepare your materials to bring to the event.

We are requesting participants to help support PRISM Georgia's mission  - changing the way the community sees people with developmental disabilities and recognizing that every life has a purpose -  by donating at least $10 to PRISM.
